The Great Commission

” Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.  And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 16 -20

Dear Readers ~ This is a direct request from me to you.

The primary reason this blog exists is my humble attempt to fulfill the Great Commission – ‘to make disciples of all nations.’ First and foremost, I’m a Christian. God has blessed me to be a wife and a mother to a soccer team’s worth of children. God has given me the gift of writing and what I do with it is my gift back to Him. It is never something I take lightly, as I do not want to be careless in my handling of the word of God. There is a fear of ‘getting it wrong’ or worse, having someone feel blocked from the love of Jesus by something I write. It has often led me to the paralysis of analysis, leaving my fingers hovering over my keyboard.

These are the countries my blog has reached – which I hope and pray means the Gospel has been shared. What is the gospel? At its most basic, it is a lifesaving message, one filled with hope.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

These are the countries the Chosen Lady blog has reached. Twenty in total. There are 195 countries in the world. Would you please share a post or two with a country not on this list? I do not have social media – so your help would be really appreciated. Many thanks!!
