Happy Anniversary!

A personal update from Elle ~ these past few months have been tiring for me. I’ve had two surgeries – one in February and one ten days ago. This month also brought about the incarceration of my daughter, although that was an answer to prayer. Anyone who loves an addict will tell you the relief they feel when their loved one is incarcerated because you know where they are and that they are alive and safe. This week brought the difficult decision to leave my church of six years. Although at first that decision brought deep sadness, I am starting to see wonderful opportunities for growth. With that in mind, I wanted to share with each of you, my dear readers, that this simple blog has grown to reach people in thirteen countries around the world and over 1,000 visits to the site. The Chosen Lady blog is not monetized, nor will it ever be. My purpose for sharing the gospel is not to profit my bank account, but your soul. I sincerely hope that you, the reader, will find the love of Jesus inside these stories I share. Thank you for a wonderful first year!
